Probematic students
Teaching is not an easy job due to the management of a group of people who behavior changes from one student to another. One nine-year-old student and one eleven-year-old student are the most problematic learners in my class. The problem starts when they are closed; the young one whispers some things that make the older one mad. Consequently, the order’s reaction is very aggressive and punches him in the arm. It generally happens when they finish the English exercises and the other ones did not. It is also important to mention that they are friends and like working together because they finish quickly; both of them are very good students. When this problem pops up, I separate them and make them work in the book. As a result, they prefer to pretend they are working and sometimes help the other ones. Another thing that I have done is to say them that if they fight in the class, I am going to go down their grades. However, I have already done that but they have not changed.

Zaida I think you should be careful with your students' grades. I know you didn't know what to do and may be this was an immediate way out. I think the grades is what motivate children to do things better. So instead of downing their grades give them extra work and tell them you'll pick it up. So that they don't have chance to fight and continue working. Also tell them you are going to give a prize (extra points) to the one who does everything in the correct way. I don't know maybe you can try this and see what happens. Good luck.
